Midweek Confessions

Happy Hump Day!
This morning has been full of running around bargain searching for
our new apartment and of course stopping by the Target One Spot for my classroom!

I am a woman, and well-- sometimes we feel guilty for some things we
do. So this is my first week of linking up with Elizabeth from E, Myself and I

[one.]
When I go shopping I like something and put in my cart. A few minutes later, I put it back. Then go back and forth. I do not know WHAT THE HECK I AM DOING?! ...Sometimes I pack the entire cart (not really full)  with full intentions of buying everything then, get so tired of looking for THAT ONE thing, and just put everything back. and leave (Does not happen at the grocery store, though...thank goodness). {Eye Roll}

[two.]
This will be my first FULL year teaching, and well, I keep finding myself wanting to go to my classroom and decorate. I should be wanting to be at home writing lesson plans or something...right?

[three.]
I eat cereal dry. With no milk. Fruit Loops, too. WHAT?!
Don't look at me like that!

[four.]
Whenever I listen to country songs that my mister sings at gigs, my mind tricks me into
thinking it is really him singing the songs to me... his voice is similar to a few..
Romantic or Creepy?

I love Elizabeth's Blog. I started following her when I read one of her HILARIOUS recaps of Sean's season of The Bachelor.
Hope you guys have an amazing Wednesday!

  1. I am about to start my third year of teaching, and like you, I ALWAYS focus on the decorating and organizing part! I constantly think about how best to set up my classroom and what I can make, but lesson planning doesn't begin until school starts because well...that is just not as much fun! Haha! You are not alone! :)

  2. I am about to start my third year teaching as well (like Heather above) and I am decorating fiend. I find it difficult to start thinking about lesson plans and the direction I want to go in my classroom in July. I can however, think of cute and fun craft projects I want to do and color schemes I want to go with. I find the lesson planning comes a little more naturally once I get back into the school building and start getting into the swing of things.
